For a very long time, Fairbank Brearley was the most famous spring making machine manufacturer all around the world. It was founded in 1820 mainly serving for railway industry, even before the automotive industry. After the automotive industry rising, Fairbank Brearley started the development of automotive spring making machines designing and manufacturing. Many of the designs were being unique to Fairbank Brearley. The Parabolic Rolling Mill was designed by Ian Wilson, the owner of Hille Engineering and designer of the first Parabolic Rolling Mill.
